A Palestinian-American youth who spent nine months in imprisonment by Israel without being charged was released.

Mohammed Ibrahim was 15 at the time of his arrest last February in the Israeli-occupied West Bank, while he was vacationing on holiday from Florida accused of stone-throwing toward Israeli settlers, which he previously denied.

United States authorities said it welcomed the teenager's freedom.

Now sixteen years old, was taken to hospital for treatment immediately after release, according to close relatives.

Family described him as pale, underweight, while battling health issues acquired while detained.

Via family representatives, the youth's uncle expressed the family's "overwhelming sense of relief".

Zeyad Kadur stated the family experienced "surviving a terrible, unending nightmare" during the entire detention period.

"Right now, we're concentrating on getting Mohammed prompt healthcare necessary for his recovery after being subjected to mistreatment by authorities and inhumane conditions for months."

US officials announced ongoing to offer diplomatic assistance for the Ibrahim family.

{"The Trump Administration considers paramount than the safety and security of US citizens"," the department emphasized.

Twenty-seven US lawmakers endorsed a document to the state department and the White House, demanding more be done to secure his release.

Mohammed's parent, a father-of-four managing a frozen treats business in Florida, previously said his child admitted guilt to throwing stones due to physical abuse.

The father hadn't visited or spoken to Mohammed since the arrest, and only heard about his son's condition via legal paperwork.

The teenager remained lacking indictment at Ofer detention facility in the West Bank.

The facility also contains adult prisoners, featuring prisoners sentenced for major terrorist activities and murder.

There are around 350 Palestinian child security detainees detained within Israeli facilities, based on prison authority data.

Several lack formal charges while advocacy organizations, including UN bodies, document cases involving physical abuse and torture.

Subsequent to his liberation, family representatives announced relatives would persist in advocating demanding accountability for their family member family member Sayfollah.

This young American-Palestinian who the Palestinian health ministry said died from beating by radical settlers following tensions in July.

At the time, the Israeli military said they were examining reports a Palestinian civilian was deceased.

The two cousins collaborated within the family's frozen treats establishment from Tampa.

No one has been charged for the cousin's murder.

"We expect the American government to ensure our family's safety," the uncle stated.
