This young athlete boasts impressive online audience
The young golfer can count on multiple well-known cheerleaders when she makes her professional golf debut on Thursday.
The 18-year-old athlete, who happens to be related to Donald Trump, obtained a sponsor's invitation to play at the Annika tournament in the Sunshine State.
The former president, an avid golfer, operates numerous international courses and regularly matches against Kai.
"He's quite skilled. I can't say much but we play tight competitions," she stated.
She mentioned that her grandfather, who cannot attend, told her: "Simply avoid anxiety."
"My grandpa basically advised me to go out there and relax," she continued.
"In my eyes, he's just a normal grandpa. He's not attending this weekend. He's focused on world affairs, making him rather occupied."
While still amateur, the golfer has participated in just three tournaments recently and has ranking 461 in AJGA standings.
Yet she can seek guidance from Tiger Woods, in a relationship with Kai's mother.
"He stands as the greatest golfer globally," Kai stated.
"Additionally, he's a more impressive person. He suggested me to go out there, relax, following whatever happens."
Kai will face several top competitors in professional golf at the competition, such as world number two the champion, England's golfer Hull, professional Thompson and last year's winner Lilia Vu.
The LPGA stated that involving Kai helps introduce the sport to different demographics, specifically reaching the next generation.
The young star maintains millions of followers and recently launched an exclusive clothing and lifestyle brand.
She begins at late afternoon GMT.
